Tara is the goddess of fertility, the proud mother, strong, confident, elegant...caring and earthy. She is my tribute to the mothers that are and to be, who fight every day to bring up emotionally and physically healthy children. The original painting is 36" x 48" on gallery wrapped canvas. The background is made by recycling and collaging wall paper samples while her head dress and the baby's swag are recycled fabric samples. The hair and flesh are painted in acrylics. I completed her in 2017.
