BRUNA (2014)
Bruna exudes elegance, confidence, and a touch of mystery...
The original mixed media painting, completed in 2014, is rendered in acrylic on a 36" x 48" gallery-wrapped canvas. Her headpiece and clothing are crafted from recycled fabric samples from interior design projects, adding a unique and sustainable element to the piece.
In 2017, Bruna was featured in my "Empowered Women" series at the DeVos Place convention center in Grand Rapids, MI. This painting was among the top 25 most-voted 2-D artworks in the prestigious international ArtPrize contest.
